The ocean opens its arms
A vast cathedral of waves,
Where the tide hums hymns older than memory.
I step close,
And the pull is not gravity alone.
It is something divine
Something that knows my name.
The water moves like breath
In and out
Alive
As if the whole sea is a heart beating beneath the sky.
Here,
I am no longer adrift.
Here,
I am cradled in a language beyond words;
Salt air filling the hollow places with life again.
The ocean is not just water;
It is home,
It is prayer,
It is the living pulse that reminds my soul how to be alive.
I do not know what tomorrow will ask of me
Or which path waits beyond the horizon
For now,
I just need to be.
Like the tide, resting in its rhythm,
Like the ocean
Simply alive.
